I considered the rule of thirds in this picture by taking the photo so the chair was more to the right of the photo rather than the center.
This photograph best satisfies the assignment because it really shows line and shape. It has shape in the fence and lines on the road, the bridge, and even lines on the fence.
This image successfully leads the viewer's eye through the work. It has line and shape in the concrete and the fence.
This picture has the play of organic and geometric shapes. It shows lines in the chairs and shapes in the mirrors.
Pattern and Texture
This photo moves beyond subject matter because I could of just took a picture of the tree straight on. Instead, I got closer, moved it more to the right and took it at an angle.
If I could shoot a photo over again, I would shoot this one over. This is because I would put the flower more to either the left or right of the picture and get closer to the ground, at a different angle.
I feel that this image is the most captivating because of the lighting conditions. It is lighter at the bottom of the tree and darker at the top of the tree. I also like all the different patterns in this photo.
Power Lines and Playgrounds
I used the rule of thirds in the second photo by putting the swings off to the left of the photo rather than in the center. I feel that the third photo successfully leads the viewer's eye through the work. I feel like the first photo has the best organic and geometric shapes in it.I feel like my sixth photo best satisfies this assignment because it shows a more old playground with the old slide. It has lot's of shapes in it as well as the first one and I also really like the angle I took the photo at.
